In conversation with the good lady this evening, she said to me 'you would have been very proud of your daughter today'. I asked why?. Apparently,
while driving back from school, (that's the wife-not my daughter as she is only 4 and that would have been illegal-and she wouldn't have touched the
pedals anyway as her legs are too short-that's my daughter -not my wife). Where was I? Oh yes, while driving my daughter back from school, the radio was
on. A song came on and my daughter said 'Mummy, I know who this is. It's Sweet isn't it?'. It was actually Suzi Quattro with Devil Gate Drive.
Bearing in mind she is only 4 (that's my daughter-not Suzi Q), that's pretty impressive don't you think?? Okay, she needs a bit more Sweet
education but that's pretty good in my book.
Seriously, it does say a lot for the power of ChinChap don't you think? They certainly had the Knack........and they wrote 'My Sharona' for them
didn't they?? and the spooky thing is, we drive a VW Sharan(a)

I think its wonderful that our little ones will
continue to keep The Sweet music alive. I was in Tesco last week and Poppa Joe started to play in the store. My 13 year old daughter had gone to look at some
Cd's but came running back to me shouting "mum ,mum, its The Sweet " "I know I know" I excitingly replied. ..

. Because it is! In fact it's been 'Knack-ered' since I drove back
from your panto 18 months ago. We had to limp home...
