I Think singer Joe Retta is garbage in Steve Priest Sweet,,Thats a crime Steve not lead singer is own group...
In tree excelents records of Sweet, Steve singer the great most of songs brilliantment..... Out Retta...Inside Steve....

Steve sang lead vocals all his one liners would be lost. As for future reference, if you don't like what you hear then don't listen! no one is forcing

Nice one Ray, that made me laugh!! As for Joe Retta, i think he's got a great voice, and that Steve chose well. If you don't like him, fine, thats your opinion but try not to be so insulting. |

I don't get the constant postings about singers , we've had The Sweet ones obviously but we've had Queen and The Who as well . There seems to be
some kind of obsession going on .

I agree with Kitty. It's Steve's band and he decided upon the position of lead singer. IMHO, Joe has a great voice and adds a little flash and
flamboyance to the lineup. Moreover, Steve's one liners would be lost if he sang lead all the time (as someone else astutely pinpointed).
It's okay that you possess your own opinions, Debatess, but please try to be polite when expressing your thoughts. Most of us are very kind to each other around here, even if our opinions differ, and I wouldn't want to witness a flame war. |
