I was sad to hear of Farrah Fawcett's death, had a big crush on her when i was a lad, RIP.
I was very shocked to hear about Michael Jackson's death, i was never a huge fan, but he was a true original and very, very talented, But a very strange bloke indeed. |

I'm still truly in shock of the events of yesterday. I was a child of the 70's and he and Farrah were the 2 biggest icons ever from that era. I choose
to remember him as a young Michael singing ABC or I'll be there with his brothers or moonwalking across a stage to Billie Jean.
He was obviously a very troubled man and I in no way will condone what he may have done later in life if it was true, but I must feel sorry for him because I really feel he was a very lonely man who probably couldn't trust anyone. And I can only hope that his children will be ok and that the people responsible for taking care of them and this mess will keep their best interest in mind. Willy H. |

I am born in 1971, so in highschool during the 80's.
When Michael Jackson was on the height of his succes. Seemed that he was constantly in the hitparades back then. I am not a fan, although I think Off the wall and Thriller are good albums. After that, well, that's not my cup of tea. RIP Michael. As for Farrah, I missed her heydays (due to the fact that I was too young). I heard she had cancer some time ago and last week I heard that she and Ryan were going to get married. RIP Farrah. Twan

...yesterday I found out rather quickly when Ms. Fawcett passed away - I was looking over my girlfriend's shoulder at the time when she was on the CNN
site... (shhh, and we were at work
) However, I was truly caught by
surprise when I found out about Michael's sudden death early this morning on the news - I was indeed taken back. Both of these artists were truly talented
in their respective crafts, and it again leaves a void in the Celebrity World...

Love him or hate him you have to admit that he was pretty damn talented.
But he was so troubled that you just knew his life wasn't going to end "happily ever after". Even all the talent in the world can't bring you happiness. I hope that all the terrible things he was accused of doing weren't true and I hope that he can finally find that peace and happiness that he had missing in this life..........

He was a huge talent, a sad loss for his family and fans.
I haven't bought any of his music and I probably never will. I don't know how after making such huge money, he spent more than he earnt. Regardless of the law suits. A few MJ jokes... He will be buried because all the fumes from that melted plastic would be LETHAL!!! Also reports that Jacko died of skin cancer are wrong. He actually tripped over a pushchair belonging to one of his special friends. So don't blame it on the sunshine, blame it on the buggy. It has been announced, he has requested to be melted and made in to toys, so the kids can play with him for a change. |
