I can't see them ever working together again, but as Andy says, there is only the two of them left. It would be great if they could put aside any
differences and chat and laugh about the old days together as friends. Lifes too short to hold grudges.

The reference to Steve is the same exchange he described in "the upper room" at the Robin.
He carries out his duty

I hope/think they might for a short time. What I think could do it is if a promoter , probably in Europe, were to test the water and see what venues would be
interested putting on a show with the Andy & Steve back together. Both Andy and Steves band could still continue as is as both have their followers. This
could just be a 2 week/10 date tour. It would raise the name again of Sweet and would probabaly do heaps of good in interest for both bands independently. I
really think that could work and would be a compromise.
I also think if Sweet could get a slot at a UK festival that would also raise their profile. I live in hope. The Sherminator

Yup, Pete just does vox or another guitar. Steve on bass, Granty on guitars and keyboards
He carries out his duty

Would Steve turn up to participate in Andy's band ? Or does it have to be 'neutral', and do we just need a very good drummer?

Would Steve turn up to participate in Andy's band ?
The preverbial nail on the head I think! What would be sensible (I think) would be for Andy to do some gigs in the US with Steve's band, and for Steve to do some in Europe with Andys band. Easy! |

What it would need is for the other guys in the respective bands to put their egos to one side for a short while.. I don't think I'd be entirely happy
if my band wanted to get someone else in on bass and vox for a short period but as long as I knew it was for a set amount of gigs and then everything would
return to normal , I could live with it .

Do you think the Ritchie Onori + Bruce Bislane = Mick Tucker?

meadey wrote:As you say it would be hard for the rest of Andy's band to see another person come onto the stage and perform, but having said that, they all know and understand the legend that is Steve within the bands history so they would probably not complain too much. It would definately need to be a temporary thing though, and to be honest, I reckon thats all it would be seeing as Andy's feet are firmly settled on this side of the pond and Steves in the new world.
