LP compilation "Hell Raisers!" |
Lead | ||
|
At my friend's local independent record store, I found a totally mint and still wrapped LP entitled "Hell Raisers!" It contains all of the early
singles. I looked at a few different Sweet discography sources and couldn't find it anywhere (unless, of course, my vision is failing me ~ and that's
always possible). Is this an obscurity, a rarity or something that was only released in the UK...? Thanks in advance and hope I haven't asked a question
that's been posited a million times already!

My friend had said that he'd displayed it right in the window when he first acquired it because he thought someone would snap it up immediately. Strangely
enough, nobody did...until I came along after a prolonged absence from his store, that is. Lucky me! Ha!
Zabadak, sorry ~ I didn't answer your question. After scanning the record, it would appear that it was actually issued here in the States. Still a bit mysterious to me!

Looks like it. I know Doug (my friend who owns the store) wouldn't sell something if it weren't. He's been in business for over twenty years and
has a great reputation in the state. I guess I'll just ASK him about it because he'll probably know the answer! I just don't have an opportunity to
trek to that area too often...and, admittedly, I hate the phone after too many years in customer service. Anathema! ha!

Beat Rocket ~ Sundazed Music. This is confusing. On the wrapping there's a seal that says, "180 gram: From the original first generation master
tapes." Hmmm...I think we're getting somewhere. I'm not so certain it's genuine at this point, though what puzzles me is why Doug would sell
it in the first place.
All of you sit tight...I'll find out over the weekend! Thanks for sticking with me, Zabadak! |

Don´t know if it´s legal or not, I guess you can search on the label on google and see how "serious" they are. I have it as well, and it´s nice to
have(actually it is a kind of re-release of the US vinyl "Sweet Feat. Little Willy & Blockbuster") it unplayed(S/S)!

I have seen this record also in Germany once, but someone bought it before my nose. I think its a legal and good quality pressing . Its maybe the latest vinyl
Lp of Sweet that was released.
