Thanks jimmy, it sounds like you 'got' my voice in the book . I think that is my talent, same as a song writer, its a 'voice' a personality that is evident on the page. It seems to have traveled well too. They like it in Germany, Sweden, Norway, all over. That is one reason why I am going to record a talking version. I did it with my last book and it came out really well. It is also much much cheaper to produce ! On the proofing, yes its got ten big flaws and then many other minor ones that are way beyond me. I left School at 16 over 30 years ago and was supposed to work in a factory etc not become a writer etc. Usualy the 'creative part' of the operation doesnt also do the editing, proofing and help make the cover. I make that point in the book about some of the band's later work.....that its never really very good to be the carrot, the stick and the Donkey ! There will sadly be no reprint, not by a million miles. with the sale that just arrived today from 'Karen' in the UK the total now stands at 370, leaving 1,630 books still left to go ! I did get an email from the original publisher yesterday to say a big well done for going it alone and actually selling so many. The talking book can be done on a computer at a fraction of the price and thus sold cheaply too. So watch this space, it wont be long. Im talking to two discount book stores at present to take some at very discounted prices soon. Even so we are still only looking at 50 copies............leaving 1,580 left ! It s great though, really, every single day since early June a message, card or letter arrives from a fan or member of the public saying they love the book and like my 'voice' my way of explaining, joking, evoking or even being emotional within the book. It is sad Jimmy that I or some one did not do this a decade ago, while the wider general public still knew who Sweet and BC were and are. Im quite proud that I personaly have sold copies to many younger people who did not know who Sweet were but knew me etc. Last week in London at a signing event there were a dozen young men in the audience ( lucky me !) who were buying Brian's book rather than a book about Sweet. After these thirty and forty year olds have read it , they will know who Brian Connolly and Sweet were. I think Sweet faided in the UK just a few hits short of true greatness and thus are not quite in the Slade, Queen, Status Quo bracket of public affection and awareness. To me that was not too relevent............I only write about what moves me and that was Brian and Sweet. go easy with the herrings Jimmy !

Hi Ewan, I hate my channel too but I cant get it to go back. If you click on the 0belly9 logo at the top left it slides down the video options ( or at least it does for me) like favs, friends and my videos . if you click on that then my uploads come up in a list. I would rather they were just displayed on the page but i cant find even an option for that, there arent those modules on offer in the adjustment thing. I have clicked all of them to show everything but one still has to click on 0belly9 to get the videos . My old channel was 0briman9 but i moved , changed e mail, and forgot the pass word. I tried for months to contact you tube to explain but they couldnt fix it .....so now i have a dead channel with all the brian connolly vids on it , marooned forever in cyber space. The songs are getting loads of hits so it looks like folks are figuring it out . as for honeytummy .............it will make you a better person for the 'trying' lol

Hi Pawl, been away for the weekend to celebrate my camper passing her MOT, ( not before she cost me 500quid ) anyway, your movie files , well we have not found a pc that likes them. Basically the audio and the image dont run at the same rate on a pc. so it stops half way and you have to push the little man back that goes accross the screen. Very odd. Also it will only load the audio in 'windows movie maker' bloody technology, if you have somthing for more than a month it becomes incompatable ! SO. I tried this , I Filmed the show from my pc onto my camera.it came out really well BUT it still will not play all of the sound track it crashes the program. SO >>>>>> I am just now going to do this . mix the studio version of the songs with the live tack from my filming from my pc screen. Ill try to put a bit of live sound at the front . I have a very clever freind who does computers for a living and ill ask him if he can do anytinng. Doeds all this make sense ? Your files are some way compressed in your camera. They play to a degree. They wont edit, and the sound track crashes the movie editor. so ill post my studio version of the show with a filnmed from screen version of the bits that play. By the way...........I look almost spookily like BC in parts of the vid dont I ! Ill try now.

ok i managed to slavage some for now . its on and not only on but getting dozens and dozens of hits already , in an hour ! I t is the Brian Part and I literaly filmed it off my pc till it ran aground and then I filmed it from after it ran aground. Enjoy all, you will see what a smashing night you all misssed and what an impersonator can do if he also happens to be a Sweet fan .It is odd because it simply will not play the part that contains a snatch of Brian s vocal from 79. we put it in as an effect and to replace the ten minute middle eight section he had on his version. I hope to have this footage done in much better quality but it is very odd in how it behaves ( as you willl see) it crashes at different places on each play. There is so much more to show, however for now if you go on you tube you will see Magic Circle, Take away the Music and Dont you know a lady . ENJOY all.
