While we all wait baited-breath for Mick Duthie's new Sweet book, another one has just slipped into view! This one is by long time Sweet (and specifically Brian Connolly) fan, Brian Manly, and is about the great frontman himself. It's called 'The Man Who Sang Blockbuster' and is available from his website HERE.

I haven't got a copy yet so have no idea what it's like, but I do know Brian (Manly) so I suspect it'll be a cracker!

the site had an error with regard post and package, one of the buttons was not charging the £2 shipping. this is in hand so i hope you ordered a copy before it was fixed as we will obviously be honouring all orders placed before the correction. The book is a 200 page paper back. Ive not had one to hold myself yet. Its cover is a glittery newly commissioned portrait of BC . There are loads of pics and several discographies. You are the first fans I have contacted. I never usualy do this web stuff ! Stewart suggested I come on to answer all your questions. I am happy to do this. The response so far has blown me away and orders in the first six hours are now in double figures. Oh there will be an interveiw in Cos ciminos magazine in a couple of weeks too. I also have some Gold stations lined up to run features, adds and competitions to help promote it . I hope you enjoy the book. Brian Manly

All You'll Ever Get From Me

I need to pay for a graduation party first then will try to get this book. It will be double $$ for us here in the US but sure will be well worth it. So nice to see a book all about Brian!!
