I can't be there, not for any early jollies anyway. But I'm pretty damn sure Andy and Co will be around after the gig to say hi......

BTW Andy regularly looks into the audience, sees my face and thinks; oh f*ckin hell he's here, the knobber!

That reminds me of one Andy gig I went to a few years ago. We were all dancing at the front and all the songs they'd played so far had been the big hits. I was dancing right in front of Andy when the opening riff of Turn It Down started and I could feel my face start to beam cos I never expected them to play it and its deffo one of my faves and I saw Andy look at me as if to say "Oh #+!!, we got a proper Sweet fan here!"

if andy looked at me I'd probably go bright red in the face and say hi!! lmao and then my heart would start racing then i'd just carry on as normal and andy would be thinking "@#*~? whats she on? but anyway i think the draw gives eveyone a chnace of going.. you know whoever would like to go to it some fans may just be happy to see him playing or even might see him afterwards anyway!!

Quite right young Linda, we're all on the same side, all other stuff is not relevant is it? Age, football teams, small, medium or large, whatever........see you at 'Bilston' for a drink all you SWEET fans.

Reading this topic about people who even never sáw the band shows me again how lucky we are where I live.
Between three borders, which gives us many opportunities to see them, whether it is Holland, Belgium or Germany. If we can't make a gig, there's always another coming up soon somewhere.
It would be nice if fans who never saw them would be the lucky ones for this event

I cross my fingers a little bit more for you

So here's a funny thing. I'm having a meal at a restaurant last night and my iphone "buzzed". A quick glanced showed me I had an email from Stewart. The subject heading was: Andy's 60th. I said to Deb, "This could be the news!!!! I must downoad it." But the iphone refused to download the actual message. I was so desperate to find out if I'd been lucky or not that I nipped to the loo and went on the messageboard to see if a list had been published. No such list. I rushed the rest of the meal and ushered Deb to the car to get home quickly so I could open the mail on the poota at home. When I did I found it was NOTHING at all to do with Andy's 60th. He'd just replied to my mail to him about Andy's 60th. So now I owe Deb big time for disturbing the evening.

My star sign for this week actually said something like; someone with a connection to Wales will bring news you and many have been waiting for.

now i don't believe in the magazine stuff..i mean jeez, Wales could be anyone or anything but. Wrexham is Wales is it not? and that is Andy's birthplace. Although, it makes me wonder what news he's getting about someone from Wales too.
