They went through the usual introductions about the 1970s, economic gloom, etc, being brightened up by the arrival of Glam Rock.
The Sweet got a few positive mentions throughout the programme, all from a guy called Wayne Hemingway (a clothes designer).
They showed a few more clips of the Blockbuster performances with Steve and Andy, to a commentary that went something like this:
'These were the most outrageous images seen up until this time (early 70s), and probably since as well'.
Seems like Hemingway was a big fan back in the day and must still enjoy the bands memory. Makes such a change to see them remembered fondly and with some respect in the UK. Other guests were Zandra Rhondes and Tony De Havilland (he made platform boots).
Worth a look if you missed it and it's on the iplayer.
They missed out totally on the fashion for denim above the waist in the 1970s. Denim jeans were mentioned once or twice in relation to flares, but I think it was a very middle class (and art school) take on the clothes fashions in the main - how could they not mention denim jackets, sleeveless or otherwise.
