Just got back from the gig in Tinte. I was expecting a 'just-hits-gig' 'cause it was the annual village-feast but hey, we got 'Burn On The Flame', 'Heartbreak Today' and 'Restless/No You Don't', brilliant! I arrived early and watched the soundcheck and saw Andy was really sharp. As a special birthday-gift (it was my birthday and the best ever!) Andy threw me a plectrum that the nice ladies of Tinte found for me with a pocket-light. I was thinking of you all, just watch the text-message above Andy and you'll understand that 'groet' is Dutch for 'is greeting'.
I've got nice vids/pics that I'll share with you later...

Nice one sammy, looks like we might be keeping some of the 'good stuff' in the Sweet set after all? How did these songs go down? (Burn On The Flame, Heartbreak Today, etc, etc)

That's the fun part. Musically it was ok as to be expected, but the crowd seemed to love it to. This is indeed looking good for us fans.

Thanks for the HSH-greeting Sammy! What a great and funny idea!

… and Happy belated Birthday!

Interesting information regarding the set list, gives the Swedes hope since we have a few gigs coming up now! The first one is tomorrow in Leksand, about three hours from Stockholm. It's with Rubettes so I expect at "hits set list" there, but you never know then!

The Stockholm one on Thursday is only with Andy and the guys though, and the venue is at the funfair "Gröna Lund" where the guys was involved in/or was said to be involved in a little "incident" back in 1976… Then they played at the big outdoor stage, this is a venue within the funfair called "Tyrol" - a good venue I think, even though to see them back at the big stage would have been fun.

So, thanks for the info Sammy and hopefully the Swedes will get a few SFA-tracks as well!

hi sammy,i was right in the middle first row.i was wearing my sweet tourshirt from 2004 with the english flag.strange i was talking to some guys first i thought it was you but its seems they come from dongen ten miles from my place and we share the same passion sweet and willem2.they want to come visit me to watch my sweet collection.are you the guy with the long hair??

My hair is not that long, it sort off reaches my shoulders. I was standing to the left face to face to Andy. I saw two guys with 'Sweer Tour Shirts'. Were you with a pal with a Toto shirt ? Than you are probably in my video.
