Brian without a doubt, a brilliant voice suited to both the pop and rock tracks, and totally unique. My all time favourite singer and always will be. Three
perfect examples of what i mean would be Reflections, Teenage Rampage and Windy City. Three different styles, all sung brilliantly.

I would prefer Brian Connolly as lead vocals becuase it was what he was put on earth for he was a frontman/showman/lead singer!! whichever you want to call it
I have always loved the way Brian looked.. he was good looking back in the day I admit his blond hair them sky blue eyes but also he looked brilliant in them
outfits even though he didnt look as outrageous as say steve for example but he had a crazy character too!! But the main reason is his voice it has a VERY
distinctive sound you cant mistake it for ANYONE elses voice as soon as you here it you know its SWEET well if your a fan like us you do
But I also have to say Andy has a lovely voice and when he and brian just sang oh my I just melted!!! perfect harmony!!!! I loved andys voice especially when he sang lady starlight and even at the gig.. so he and brian could have been lead singer in turns like cooperating! As for steve I think he is good at singing in his way and not a way that he doesnt find comfortable but i would put him a third to be lead singer!! I dont think I have heard mick sing on his own??
... Like a moth to a flame..he leads me down unbound!!

Brian had the edge and the honesty. Andy has the high power and the testosterone heavy low notes. Steve's voice is more romantic.

Love Andy's voice as he is my favourite sweet man, but having said that Brian had to be the front man. Such a wonderful voice, so distinctive and such a
showman. I have to say that i also liked Mick vocals, very soft and gentle, sounding good on the right track. And of course Steve as well. They all fitted
together like a glove, and there won't ever be any thing else quite as special as the SWEET sound

Definitly Brian. To be honest i don't see Stev or Andy as leadsingers. they complete the harmony. Although I love the live version of Rrrrestless, Steve is
brilliant in that.

Okay I'm sitting on the fence. Brian was the best front man of all time. Great voice, good looking, great charisma. As vocalists, the original four were
pretty even in my book. Listen to No You Don't, Into the Night, Big Apple Waltz or anything from the final 3 Polydor LPs.
At this point, I cannot think of many bands past or present where you can say that....

I liked the way they used the four voices together. But yeh Brian was my favourite he had one of the greatest rock voices of all time. Very rock'n'roll
and authentic, but personable and melodic at the same time.

IMHO, Brian was the ultimate, quintessential frontman. He had the pipes, looks, magic and charisma that only amazing frontmen (or women) possess. That being
said, however, the others had incredible voices in their own respective rights. Sweet wouldn't have been Sweet without their remarkable high and passionate
harmonies! Andy and Steve were and are also quite capable of being lead singers. I love to listen to Andy sharing "Lady Starlight," "Into the
Night" or "Dream On" whereas I also love to hear Steve belting out "No You Don't," "California Nights" or exchanging
leads with Brian. It struck me not long ago that Mick had an awesome voice as well, and DAMN it's difficult to play an instrument ~ especially DRUMS ~ and
provide background vocals concurrently. But he managed that feat (and the occasional lead vocal) with more than an ounce of perfection.
