Looking at some of those photos I'm surprised that Andy's leather outfit survived at all!
He had that on at the Lyceum show and then for the 'Ballroom Blitz Tour' shortly after. The jacket and jeans are still in great condition (I had the jeans on in the evening at Bilston) but the waistcoat has been worn alot more on it's own. i.e, The Marquee shows and Leeds plus others. As I've already mentioned before, you can see these items on my homepage. Thanks for the snaps. Pawl.

They bring back great memories for me too everytime I look at them, and you can see Andy's 'coffee table' sized pedal board in some of them. I was
right in front of his amps, and was 'deaf' for about 2 days after! lol but it was worth it just to be so close

I love the no nonsense backdrop, who wants to look at bands with lots of pyro and an elaborate stage show
I always remember Duran Duran thinking they were too big to support and they pulled out on the night. The Lyceumn was a great venue, I saw Twisted Sister, WASP and Bay City Rollers there during the 80's. Thanks for the pics Andy and Stew. |
