Just for a bit of fun, give us your suggestions for a setlist for Bilston, bearing in mind that its supposed to be a longer gig.

I did a little edit from my original list. The same songs are all there, but I moved one. I think that it would be a great laugh if this happened.

There's 42 songs there (Douglas Adams would be proud

), and if they average between 3 and 4 minutes, the set should last about two and a half hours. It not too much to ask is it?

shoot me for being the nitpicker...and i know Andy was the face of the demi-LP with Sweet but wasn't Lollipop Man pre-Andy.

Good point Ani. He is credited with being on the song on the album The Sweet and The Pipkins, but I know he wasn't. I dare say that in the early days of the band he will have performed the song a few times though.

They are all good set lists. The hardest thing isn't picking the songs to be played. Its deciding what to leave out thats the biggest problem.

If Andy would play what he did during the SweetFA tour, it's already something to really lick your fingers. Having seen the band so much in the past 9 years, these particular shows stay in my mind as something really special.

The gig should kick off with "Action" with "long" intro, then everything is possible, but I really hope to miss out the bubblegumstuff this time, and a single version of Oxygen is welcomed as well. Just put in 2 Sweet songs instead of the "Fanfare",and why not tracks from Sweetlife?

I totally agree. They shouldn't do "Fanfare For The Common Man" in the middle of Love Is Like Oxygen. They should do something Sweet related instead.

I think the idea of having the single version of LILO is far and away the best suggestion. Any other extra songs like Fountain and Silverbird would be far better played in their entirety and on their own.

I just hope the set list is a little different and mixed than we are used to. Variety keeps things fresh. I am not a lover of Peppermint Twist (I know I know) so they can skip that one if the like. Anything from Sweetlife would be good, Cockroach and Set me Free would suit me for starters.
