Sweet Indulgence

I will check out its authenticity when I meet the man, see if he has any history. He owns a drum shop nearby and ought to know, it's not for sale or anything.

My mate is a drummer and went in to buy a cymbal. He saw it with a little note on it saying what it was and took a photo on his mobile knowing I was a Sweet fan.

Thats not actually the picture he took, theres more on my facebook page if any of you are my buddies there . I just dont seem to be able to post them

We've generally accepted I think that the favoured kit maker is Ludwig, and the favoured kit is the silver double bass drum kit, but now we're branching out into "Ah, but what other kits did he play?" And the latest is this green Hellraiser kit.

It's sealed in a glass frame. I did try it on once when I first got it. It was bloody tight. Many pints and many pies would now make that impossible to repeat; even if I was to break the glass!

So anyway...

Well I've been. Popped in as per VC10s directions after the Bilston gig.
I also had a chat with the owner and we ended up having a silly argument as to whether Andy used to keep it in his "Shed" or his "Garage".

And it certainly could do with some TLC!

Presuming youare still talking about Micks Gretch not Andys...

Clarification point and the reason why there may be a disagreement. It wasn't bought from Mick directly, it was bought from the landlord who was seeing Janet after Mick died. Evidently Micks gear was moved over to this landlords place (could have been a shed or garage) and left behind by Janet when she buggered off to live in Portugal. He was randomly offered the stuff when the landlord saw him playing in the pub.

There was very worth having as much had been smashed (Micks playing) but he did buy this kit and Micks No1 Ludwig 401 snare, which he has since sold on.

Oh yeah.. meant Mick! Now usually I'd have simply edited my earlier post to make you look stupid John, but I'm too tired :-) I mentioned Jan to him and he said that name rang a bell.

Maybe Henrik can answer this? Did he see where it was kept? Or Elliott?

Heck, I rode up there a few weeks ago and I couldn't even remember which house it was!

The road is so rutted I nearly lost it.
