This sounds plausible, true or not. If it was like that it really shows how cynical some business/people can be.
How to prove it now? The manager died in some car accident in ´73...

The Brian Jones-incident is very well described in Anna Wollin's (his last - Swedish - girlfriend) book (which the film is
also much based on). She was there that night, and the way she describes it sounds also very plausible; this constructor/handyman
who'd been some time in Jones's house for restauration didn't have to high thoughts about the little pop nerd - him and his
men were stealing things all the time, etc. Jones, in turn, could be a very condescending person towards people, and perhaps
provoked the guy when they were in the pool, and he pushed Jones's head under the water and Jones suffered from
asthma and got an attack, and there... Anna Wollin said she'd left to go inside the house just prior to the incident,
the other guy's girlfriend came in soem minutes later and told her something was wrong with Jones, they rushed to the pool and tried to get him
up and revive him, but to no avail. Then she claims that there were some more/other people who came to the house -
among them Jones's manager, she was heavily sedated and brought up to her room, and then there was also some kind
of "party" going on (with the constructor's people/friends). The police didnä't arrive until several hours later (weren't called for until then), and everyhting had to
be hush-hushed. The Stones Inc. got Anna out of England a.s.a.p. because they didn't want another scandal -
caused by Jones - just when they were about to go on a big US tour. (the only people she found nice were Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman
and their mrss.). So they "took care" of Anna Wohlin, did their Hyde Park-memorial gig for Jones, and then went ahead with
their business, while she went back to her parents' house in Sweden and didn't dare to tell a soul of what really had happened.
Not until many years later, when she felt she couldn't be quiet anymore, and the notorious - not a very sensitive man obvisously -
handyman/construction entrpreneur also was dead. If it's true it must have been a horrible time for her. Why would she lie? (she's nothing
to gain fromit - except some 5 minutes of "fame" perhaps, and perhaps some extra pocket money for the sellings of the book... Would
that be enough for fabricating such a story, so many years later?).

That's it Glam! Frak Thorogood. Like you say, he confessed on his death bed that he did it, but
it didn't seem to raise any eyebrows really... There must have been many people who knew what
went on that night. Did anyone in Stones know or got to know? Richards has made some
"interesting" comments over the years. Did he know, eventually, what happened to his former
band mate? Intriguing as well...

When it concerns Hendrix the doctor who went to see him said he had "drowned in wine". If someone is about to drink themselves into stupor they would finish
when losing it all together, wouldn't they? How come there was such a disastrous amount of wine inside Hendrix?
