And who's gonna watch the Eurovision Song Contest (final on Saturday, 2nd semi final tonight)?

Which country do you hope will win? My vote goes to an East-European country - not because they usually have the best songs, but they get most votes from their fellow countries... I saw the first semi final - not that many good songs were in it...

I watched the semi-final last night. What's that all about, then? I suppose, if there were a tie, there would be extra time and penalties?

I watch it every year and when it's finished, I normally wish I'd never bothered, the voting is so political, biased, cheating really. It's got nothing to do with how good a song is anymore.
If it's the same complete voting predictability again this year, they may aswell pull it off the air. What's the point anymore!
We'll have to wait and see but i'm not very optimistic one little bit.

I get better and better looking every day...... I cant wait for tomorrow!!

What is it the last couple of years, seems more folklore, drama and pure show with dancers, acrobats....watch my words, in a few year it will be circus.
Not that I was waiting for Belgium or the Netherlands; I KNEW that Belgium and Holland didn't make any chance at all. I wouldn't have voted myself for the country where I live in, nor for the one I was born and raised). There's such good music in the Netherlands, so I really wonder why the Toppers were chosen by so many. Oh well, I think I have no musical taste

I thought it was so much nicer in the past anyway.

Well, Norway won and I must admit, I really liked the song. The best one of this years' Eurosong.

My fave was Finland but, as soon as I heard it, I knew Norway would win. Shoulda put some money on it!

I prefered Iceland's song, thought it was great. I can see why Norway won though, very catchy. I thought the UK's was awful, the highlight being when she stood too close to the violinist and got elbowed!!

We, Switzerland was always loosing with zero points since years. OK I don`t know what music I would have to go there to win, I don`t see something I like there mortly. Switzerland possibly have not so much bands to choose in this small land, bt I think they always choose the wrong ones. If I could choose I would take this one of my favourite bands from my own country

Ask a band/singer from East Europe to sing for your country & the votes will be coming. The whole festival is not as good as it used to be...

Still, the song that won this year was pretty good!
