Oh FFS some of you here should REALLY get a grip and have a word with yourselves!
Ok the pic. Great an official photo; all is good. But FFS they do not look "hard"!!!! They look like L.A. Hairdressers. The one on the left (can't be bothered with names, only interested in Steve) looks slightly annoyed, maybe someone stole his straightening tongs... or perhaps he has irritable bowel syndrome. Stev eis looking cool..discretely lit; but cool.
Maybe they look no harder than the original Sweet did with their bicycle chains and pink silk bikers outfits.
Oh and why we're on the subject; original members.......
Usually there's some knobber bangin' on about Andy not being a proper member of Sweet, 'cos he wasn't the guitarist when they were a struggling, no-hit band. Personally, I don't like the SP Sweet marketing that suggests that the band didn't exist the moment Steve put his bass down and everything Andy and Mick did during the last 20+ years counts for jack sh1t 'cos Sweet only reformed when Steve came back this year. Yeah keep going on about Andy not being a real member of sweet folks, cos Ringo wasn't a real Beatle was he? To every twonk who's ever been a smart@rse here on HSH over that I say .....up yours!
But NOW I hear Steve wasn't a founding member of the band?!?!?!?!? For once words fail me. FFS back then Brian and Mick weren't The Sweet; they were unemployed ex-Wainwrights Gentlemen.
Jeez! I remember why I - and several other true Sweet fans - don't come to this board much any more. Stewart-bless him- doesn't make this board, it's members do.
Never mind; this is buried away on page 4 of a thread saying how very tough Steve's new band look so no one will read it.
