I've been looking foreward to reading your review of the night since you first mentioned it, and I'm glad to say I wasn't disappointed. It was excellent and it really captured the moments we all shared.

It was like being there all over again Darren. If you know which mags use it please keep us all informed.

This was only the second time I heard Peter sing live (the other was on last years slippers tour) and I was hugely impressed. Good to see so many positive comments throughout.

Great review, i really hope it is published. That gig was the first time i had heard them live, i will admit to being a little apprehensive as to whether i would like it, but i needn't have worried it was fantastic, great sound, great show. They deserve more publicity and i really hope they get it

Andys voice is great as lead, would like to hear him do more...

Hi Stew,

Two publications asked for it. Don't know what they did with it. I do a lot of this kind of thing and don't necessarily follow it up afterwards. I get a fee and that's really the end of my involvement. The fan's perspective thing is interesting. I think that it all depends on where you read the article. If an article appears in the NME telling you how wonderful an Oasis concert was, I doubt you stop to think whether the journalist was a fan before the gig....

Yeah good review although obviously done by a fan ...There might be some severe editing if a major publication was to use it !

Great write up!! Darren, did you write this to send out to the press as an editorial?? I think it should go to Dave Ling with some approriate high quality photos....just my two cents worth. I did ask him if he could make it that night, but sadly he couldn't. Maybe if this went to him he could slip it into the next Classic Rock mag?
