God, too many rockers have died on my birthday (March 19th)! As if I weren't paranoid enough...

That being said, thanks for posting the video, the ticket stub, et al. These iotas of musical history are important to me.

I think Brian introduced the song as tribute to Paul Kossoff ('Who should have been with us here tonight') who was supposed to be supporting Sweet with his band Backstreet Crawler. But hey, I could be wrong...

Thats cool Pawl. I doubt they were mourning Paul Kossoffs death that night though seeing as he was still alive then. He died on 19th of March 1976.

During 1976, Sweet attempted to gain popularity in America by promoting new material from their Give Us A Wink album, with a heavy schedule of more than fifty concert dates. During an appearance at Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in Santa Monica, California on 24 March, Sweet played "All Right Now" with Ritchie Blackmore as a tribute to mark the death of Free guitarist Paul Kossoff.
