Glad you like them. If I have stock in, then turnaround shouldn't be longer than a couple of days, but sometimes I have to wait for stock when several CD's have been ordered.

Just curious, Stew. What's been the turnaround time on those orders? I ordered mine on the first, and just want a general idea of when to keep an eye out for it so it doesn't get nicked out of the mailbox. Thanks!

That's helpful and thank you. We had a quick look at the Robin and thought that it might of filled up already - but I will have a look around now that you have said - we won't be particularly fussy either I'm sure by the end of the night - trying to find something within staggering distance I guess, if the truth be known! and thanks again.

Yep, not much to add as VC10 has given the details, personally i would get the tickets on line, the box office at Bilston doesnt open till 7.30 normally, so meet us in woodys bar for a sherbet first!

Dont worry this is just the place to ask....if people dont notice it we'll put it as a seperate topic...

firstly yeah Im sure tickets will be on the door no problem at all. You can buy them in advance - I have - and you do save a pound otr two...but thats probably offset against the credit card charge I'm not sure.

As for where to stay, places may be filling up now. There is a hotel nearby called The Haven, which we lovingly refer to as the Bilston Hilton....

I'm probably posting this on the wrong board so if I am sorry, but I need some help from all of you in the know.
My friends daughter has been reading the site and wants to surprise her dad by taking him to Bilston and she has asked me to help - so can someone please tell me if they know of anywhere that we can stay that's fairly local (and cheap of course - just for the night) and more importantly can we get tickets on the door or best to get them now but that's of course...

We were lucky enough to get quite a few tracks from Sweet fa at Bilston last time, plus the hits and other real heavy sweet tracks, hope for same again this year.

i know, i know you"re all gonna tell me that no song will sound the same as the originals but i just happen to think that track is one of those tunes that cannot be covered ever!!! it was just too good first time round to ever be copied!!

i must admit i was hoping to hear some of their other stuff too. my fave is the six teens, and you"re not wrong for loving me, and lies in your eyes.. but to be honest i dont think you "re not wrong for loving me can ever be sung by anyone but the original lads,,, no offence meant but i dont think it could ever sound right done by someone else..

enjoyed it much more the year before,such a shame the boys seem tied into playing the softer stuff.Would be great to see them at a harder rock tour,action , fox on the run even my favourite rock and roll disgrace are still such top tunes.Such a shame they seem to be censored!

was anyone @ the chatham gig on 14th? im trying to trace a fella who was sat in the back row of the centre block of the stalls! he seemed very interested in my tat! i was gonna nab him on the way out but we had to flee due to a fire so i went out another way and missed seeing him again!!! if that was you then contact me !!! if you want!!!!!

I agree with a lot that you said there Alisdair. I also wish they'd do a longer set and playing alongside Rubettes and Showaddywaddy, who I also regard as good bands btw, doesn't really sit very well because even though they all played on or about the same musical period, their music is a heck of a lot different. Wether the band should sell out by doing tours like this is a debateable point I admid, though I did enjoy seeing the set when I saw the band in Halifax a few weeks ago....
